funny story today – PleaseRobMe does a tongue in cheek launch to highlight one of the many issues of check-in based location services.

As I always said – there’s a big difference between telling the world what you had for lunch or what you thought of the movie on TV last night – and where you are located. Folding the virtual world back on the real world has some implications that users of check-in services would do well to consider.
